Kitchen of the Month – March

The Matrix

White and Mid- Greys pay homage to Scandinavian Style.

In recent years, Scandi-inspired interior design has become a massive trend among home-owners in Ireland. With a clean and minimalistic aesthetic being the cornerstone of the trend, the stylings of our Northern European neighbours is increasingly reflected in kitchens across the country.

In keeping with customer demand, Scandi-inspired designs now feature prominently in the Panelling Centre portfolio, as beautifully depicted by the Panelling Centre’s kitchen of the month - The Matrix.

The Matrix is a clean, modern and simplistic design available in crisp neutral shades of white or mid grey. Embellishments such as handles and knobs are removed and cabinets are finished in a supermatt surface.

The style is simple yet effective, a perfect fit for home owners seeking understated elegance in their home decor.

The virtues of using light colours and neutrals for space-enhancing qualities have long been extolled and the Scandi trend is a stylish way to achieve this. The Matrix collection palette is the perfect choice for those wishing to brighten up and expand the central hub of their homes.

For those suppressing their inner Mrs. Hinch and fearing that this pristine look will be difficult to maintain, the Panelling Centre recommends the following easy-care guidelines;

Using a mixture of 100 parts water and 1part liquid soap, dampen a soft cloth and wipe until dry. It is best to avoid hot water and detergents with acid or alkali basis as they will damage the surface of the door.
