European Beech Steamed

European Beech Steamed is a widely used hardwood across Europe, valued for its strength, wear resistance, and excellent bending properties. The steaming process enhances colour consistency and reduces natural variation, resulting in a more uniform appearance.
This hardwood offers excellent overall workability. It machines cleanly and responds very well to gluing, finishing, turning, and steam bending, making it a dependable choice for both traditional and modern woodworking applications.
While strong and versatile, beech does exhibit movement in service. Proper design allowances and careful installation are recommended to manage dimensional stability in interior environments.
