Our Favourite Kitchen Extras

Innovative technology in the kitchen has come on leaps and bounds over the last decade. At the Panelling Centre we pride ourselves on keeping up to date with the latest technology trends so in this month’s blog post we want to tell you all about our top technology picks when it comes to creating your dream kitchen.

Sweepovac

One handy gadget that will make your life easier and keep your kitchen tidy with just a press of a button is the Sweepovac. This simple and powerful vacuum works automatically to hoover up any floor sweepings meaning you’ll never have to use a dustpan and brush again! Users simply brush any dirt towards the Sweepovac and it’s gone in an instant. The clever design blends seamlessly into the bottom of your kitchen counters. The Sweepovac can also be turned into a handheld vacuum to tackle those hard to reach places.

Sensio Pods

For those who hate kitchen clutter, the Sensio pod will change your life by keeping all your wires and plugs tidy on any kitchen surface. The handy to use power station slips seamlessly into the kitchen countertop hiding away unsightly cables that might disturb the flawless design. Sensio Pods are available from The Panelling Centre and come in a choice of three finishes to suit your style chrome, black nickel and stainless steel. The Sensio Pod acts like an alternative to an extension lead with four plug outlets and also has two built in USB ports to charge your smart devices. The slim fit model has been created in-line with contemporary design trends and can fitted anywhere in the kitchen to suit your needs, even around the sink.

Hot Water Tap

The new kitchen must-have for all tea enthusiasts is a HotSpot hot water tap, which immediately dispenses boiling water. It is the first tap with a water heater made of titanium which means users always have access to pure water. HotSpot is available at Panelling Centre branches nationwide. Customers can choose between a separate boiling water tap with accompanying mixer tap, or the Quooker Flex or Fusion: a single tap for hot, cold and boiling water. Ultra-safe, super-efficient and available in eight tap designs and three finishes.

Food Waste Disposer

This simple must-have appliance provides an environmentally responsible answer to the growing problem of food waste. Fitted easily and discreetly under the sink, a waste disposer effortlessly grinds food waste into tiny particles that are flushed away down a standard kitchen drain into the local waste treatment system. Saving you time with the clean-up on every level, including the hassle of filling and emptying pedal bins with food waste. At the touch of a button the food waste is ground down and flushed away, quickly quietly and efficiently.

Lighting

Having the correct lighting in your kitchen is one of the most important design factors to consider as it sets the atmosphere and feel of a room. Here at the Panelling Centre we stock the Sensio lighting range which includes round spotlights, square plinth lights and clever LED strips. These versatile products can be used almost anywhere and on any surface. The innovative flexible LED strip light can be used in multiple locations within the kitchen including; along the kitchen plinth, above wall units to up-light the ceiling and under worktops. The strips can be cut to any desired length making them completely customisable to fit any kitchen. To add an extra touch of glamour to your kitchen space round or square plinth lights can be installed to create your desired atmosphere. Our lighting options come in a range of cool, warm and white LED to suit your mood.
